Worship Service times

The Divine Service begins at 10:45 a.m. every Sunday.

In July and August we meet in our air-conditioned basement, which you can enter from the Paulina side of the street. Otherwise we meet in the sanctuary, which can be accessed through the middle door on the LeMoyne side of the church.

During the first three weeks of Advent, midweek services are held in the church basement on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (Advent begins the fourth Sunday before Christmas or the closest Sunday to November 30.)

Lenten midweek services are held in the sanctuary on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. from Ash Wednesday through the fifth full week of Lent. The services for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil are all held at 7 p.m. (Ash Wednesday, which begins the season of Lent, is six and a half weeks before Easter. Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil [on Saturday] are the three days before Easter and commemorate important days in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ.)

Ascension Day services and Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day services are held in conjunction with a sister church in the suburbs. We host the Ascension Day service (the Thursday 40 days after Easter, with the service beginning at 7 p.m.) and they host the Thanksgiving services (usually at 7 p.m. for Thanksgiving Eve and 10 a.m. for Thanksgiving Day).
