451px-Full_Book_of_Isaiah_2006-06-06The Sunday Bible class meets at 9:30 a.m. in the narthex and is studying the four gospels. To be specific, we are considering how the gospels are similar to each other and also unique. In this study we will see how each of the gospels adds details that round out our understanding of Jesus.

To give you an idea of where we’ve been in the last few years, we have covered the following portions of the Bible at one point or another during the last several years: Isaiah (highlights only), Daniel 1-6, Amos, Jonah, John (highlights only), Acts, Romans, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, James, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Jude, and the Revelation. We have also pursued some topical courses, too: grace and election; the Inter-Testamental Period; and the Augsburg Confession.

Note: The Bible class now meets year round, except for Easter and the Sunday before and after Christmas. Thus, it will not meet on April 12, December 20, and December 27 in 2020.
